JB Nails and Spa Skyview

I went with a friend for a manicure and pedicure, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. We were made to wait around 45 minutes before being serviced. Throughout the service, the staff were sighing and rolling their eyes, which made us feel very unwelcome. If the salon was unable to accommodate us, we would have preferred to be told upfront rather than being made to wait that long. After completing the pedicure, we were then told that they would not be doing the manicure. When I tried to explain, the owner became upset and spoke to me in a raised voice. He then spoke loudly to the staff member in their language while we were standing there, which made the situation even more uncomfortable. I paid for the services we received and chose to leave rather than continue the argument. I understand that staff may have been asked to stay late, but that is not the customer's responsibility. If the salon cannot accommodate an appointment, it should communicate that clearly rather than taking out the frustration on customers. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend this salon to anyone looking to spend their money somewhere they feel welcomed and treated with basic respect.

I have never in my life been treated with such sheer disrespect and utter rudeness at a salon. If I could give this place negative stars, I would. The entire experience was a joke. Instead of asking me what I wanted, the nail tech just grabbed my hands and started doing whatever they felt like. No consultation, no questions, nothing. It felt like they decided they were the artist and I was just a mannequin who didn't have a say in what I was paying for. But here is the absolute worst part: once the nails were completely finished, they had the audacity to lecture and critique ME for not mentioning items and preferences they never even bothered to ask about! They don't ask, they just assume: They didn't ask about shape, length, or specific add-ons. The Gaslighting: When I pointed out that the final result wasn't what I wanted, they caught a massive attitude and started rolling their eyes, asking me, "Well, why didn't you tell us you wanted X, Y, and Z?" Mind-Reading Expectations: How am I supposed to magically know to bring up specific items or techniques before you do them if you don't even ask? I am the customer, not the mind-reader. They completely do their own thing, ignore your existence while doing it, and then blame you for the outcome. The staff is unbelievably toxic, unprofessional, and aggressive. Save your money, save your sanity, and go literally anywhere else. This place is trash.

This was my first time here. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted wonderfully. The place is beautiful and clean. The chairs are very comfortable. I really liked that they do manicures and pedicures at the same time; it helps speed up the process and saves time. The gel polish application was done meticulously. I recommend this place.
